Your Manitoba Health card or equivalent provincial coverage.

Insurance Info

Your benefits card or plan details so we can verify coverage and direct-bill where possible.

Medication List

A list of current medications, as some can affect hearing and help us interpret your results.

Before Your Visit

Common
questions.

Do I need a referral to see an audiologist in Manitoba?

No. You can book directly with Prairie Hearing without a doctor's referral. If your physician has referred you, please bring the referral letter so we can coordinate your care.

How long is the first appointment?

Plan for about 60 to 90 minutes. This gives us time for a thorough case history, complete hearing evaluation, and unhurried results review.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule. Just give us a call and we'll work with you.

Do you offer virtual or telehealth appointments?

We offer telehealth consultations for follow-ups, counselling, and tinnitus management when appropriate. Diagnostic hearing tests require an in-person visit to our Winnipeg clinic.

Is your clinic wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Our ground-floor clinic has step-free access from the parking lot, wide doorways, and an accessible washroom. If you have specific accessibility needs, please let us know when booking.

Prefer to call?

Our front desk is happy to help you find the right appointment.
